Solich is Nebraska’s loss, Ohio’s gain
Frank Solich has been everything the Ohio Bobcats hoped for when the school hired the former Nebraska head coach to turn around the football program.
After taking on the unenviable task of replacing legendary coach Tom Osborne at Nebraska, Solich found himself at Ohio after being let go by the Cornhuskers for the disaster known as Bill Callahan, despite going 58-19 during his regime, finishing in the top 10 three times and playing for a national championship in 2001. But their loss has been Ohio’s gane, as Solich has gone 32-31 and won two MAC East Division titles. (Read More…)
